I have a question!

Recently I got a shiny little portable video player that has some gigs to fill. Since I've been wanting to brush up my rusty Japanese comprehension skills...is there any anime or J-drama that you've been watching and would like to recommend?

I'm looking for something slice of life-y, but shoujo/magical girl or sci-fi/mecha is also fine as long as it's good. :D I've been rewatching Honey and Clover and might go for Nodame Cantabile after it, but mmh, I haven't been keeping up and maybe some of you might know better what's been out there XD...

Wow...I watched Spiderman 3 and I can't believe how bad it is. :< So bad. SO bad. The only good part about it was James Franco and then they even took him away. :|

Another week passed, and now I only have 1 week of holiday left! D: But I just handed in my assignemt about Hsp90 today. <3 I hope the professors will like it :D

Recently, I've really gotten into "normal" fashion, like "vintage" and more boldly colourful things and clear shapes. I'm not abandoning or "leaving Lolita", but I think complete outfits still feel too costumey for me and I've never quite liked blouses. :| I've been exploring Flickr branching out from a gallery that thya showed me, and I've found lots and lots of incredibly inspiring people! *__* Next thing on my list is getting to know the thrift stores of Hamburg and starting to transform my boring wardrobe into something more lively :D...

And talking about Flickr... my account is still here, but I think I'll go out and take some more photos soon. ^^ And I think I've asked this before but does anyone of you have one? I'd love to add you to my contacts! :D

Hendrik will be back early tomorrow, and Christoph was going to join us too so we can do some more flat hunting. So I guess I'll just go to sleep now XD;;

Yes, this is me not wanting to work on my assignemt :| ...going to watch MILK tonight! :D

I already forgot what happened last week, so it's probably just been quite boring and lazy. XD;; I guess, we watched "Der Vorleser", but I wasn't impressed.

Oh, we finally made Fajitas! :D (even though Avocados were still unripe so we had to skip the guacamole :|, but SOME DAY *shakes fist*) The chicken from the organic farmer's market was gooood, and I'm especially proud of the Salsa that tasted like the one Eric's mum made. XD;

Sunday morning we went to the NDR symphony concert. Markus, my flatmate, had been partying the night before, came home at 6 am and of course, was still drunk when we went out *sigh*. I think, in our glorious history of NDR concerts, we've never been completely sober altogether XD (1st time Hendrik, 2nd and 3rd time Markus). Rachmaninov 3rd was nice though, and Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet suite was epic <3

Oh, and I went to the doctor to check my gums this morning. Luckily there was no evidence of periodontosis, but the stuff they did to find it out was quite yuck. Never underestimate the dooming power of dentists! I have a professional cleaning and stuff tomorrow morning, hopefully they'll be more gentle ;-; <3

The past weekend was kind of crappy, a lot of things that I was looking forward to didn't work out (making Fajitas, going to the movies, Fajita fail the second, arguing with Eric about our "future" etc etc), but I guess, new week = fresh start!

On other news, my new dress (bad cellphone pic) arrived and and I'm not quite convinced yet...maybe I'll change the buttons and waist ties sometime. (and the buttons of the waist ties, which are of very poor quality :x) Lots to do this week, and I'll still have to finish my Chaperone/Hsp90 report! XD Ohwell...

I'll never, ever again try to go home at 3 a.m. without knowing where the bus station is. :| I went to an Electro party with some flatmates and at some point got really hungry and tired, but nobody wanted to go home with me, so I just thought I'd ask my way to home - I ended up running around for 40 minutes trying to find the bus, including paying 7,50€ for a taxi to get to the main station. (don't ask) It was cold and scary and I hate spending so much on transportation! >_<

Oh well, on funnier notes, I'll be on a TV show in march! XD;; Julia and I went to a cooking contest recording (earning 15€ per take), and since we were sat in the second front row, the contest judge actually asked me to try the contestant's food and wanted to know which I thought was better. Eeeeeeee, I was so embarassed I didn't know what to say XD;...

Ok, now I'm hungry. Will grab a banana and go to bed!
